How much to replace hinges and scratches?

My hood doesn't open properly because it hits against the fenders on both sides. So I am assuming both my hinges need to be replaced.

Also, I have a scratch in the front bumper.

I called the Infiniti dealership and they told me to take it to an Infiniti Certified auto body repair shop.

In your guys opinion ... how much do you think I'll be charged for all this with labor?

I reside in Northern VA if that makes a difference or not.

whatever the shop charges...what we say doesnt/isnt going make a difference...you should get a few quotes from different bodyshops

cost of hinges
labor to remove and reinstall
bumper repair, prep, repaint, sand and polish

probably in the 1K range

I think each hinge cost about $50, so $100 for parts. You can probably just have your mechanic replace those parts instead of an auto body shop as it might run cheaper, or you can do it yourself. It will probably just take an hour labor for that. For the scratch, is it something you can try touching up yourself first to see if you can live with?

You have to unbolt the fender and pull it back some, its very labor intensive. There is a DIY on here

Thanks man.

Looks like the problem with my hood is the fact each.time i try to open.it, both ends stay below the fender so I have to lift both corners of the hood over the fender to avoid contact.

After opening, I sprayed some wd40 but no luck ... the hinge doesnt even.look bent or anything

I have the same problem with my coupe.
Parts are like $80 for everything.
However, labour is around $400-500.
As posted above, the fenders need to be removed.
