So what is everyone using to give their tires that "wet and shiny" look??

You started out so well

Any product works fine, but they all break down the sidewall so don't bother using it on old tires.

never had it "break down" my tires after over 20 years of tire shining. I usually jus use black magic or the turtle brand which ever is on sale lol. I like the foam ones. I stay away from the oily slick dress tires. too messy and too much work. id rather jus spray and call it a day

Best off the shelf I have found is the armor all extreme tire shine gel with the foam applicator. It lasts forever and doesn't fly off the tires onto the car body.

How do you think Tire Shine works?

Glossified? It has paint.

Flat clean look? It shaved off some rubber like a compound to paint.

I use Meguiars tire shine! Great stuff and reasonably cheap
http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotiv...ereg-tire-gel/

Tip:
If you apply with a sponge you'll get a matte shine to the sidewall but if you apply with a towel it will look more of a "wet" look.

Great stuff, I stay away from the sprays because I end up having to clean the over spray off the rim before it attracts my breakdust and makes my wheels dirty quick

For years I used Meguiar's Endurance gel but unless you let it dry over night then wipe off any excess, it will end up on your car. At one of our SoCal meets I got a sample of Sanctiond Tire Glaze and ended up buying a 16oz bottle on line, works great! Whatever you buy, apply it with the applicators they sell at parts stores or PepBoys for the best results...Gary

Best tire shine

I've used many tire coating products. None have produced results like Stoners More Shine. Easy application, long lasting and affordable. I would recommend this plus all of Stoners car cleaning products. None better as far as quality.
