What should I clean my upper plenum with?

Hey guys, I've been fixing up my engine bay and figured while my engine is taken apart i'd clean the inside of my plenum intake. What should I clean it with that is safe for it? Thanks!

When I added my plenum spacer I only had 5K miles on SLICK so there was very little crud inside. You can use carb/brake cleaner or solvent if you have it, then consider installing a catch can to keep it clean!

Installing an oil catch can prevents further crap buildup in the upper plenum! (can't stop dirt from passing the intake although).
