Polish Titanium Tips?
Polish Titanium Tips?
So I recently purchased a used hks exhaust & wanted to polish it up & clean it up before installation. The tips had some burnt plastic from the bumper. I polished them using a rag, drill with polishing head & borla polish/cleaner. It worked really well to clean them however they are not really shiny like the rest of the exhaust. Its silver but its not a clear reflective image like the rest of the system. Is there a particular type of product I should use on titanium to restore that chromish reflection? They are clean from head to tow now but the more i polish they still remain the same, clean metal but not that high luster chromish look.
Make sense?
I can snag some pictures tonight to show you what I mean. Thoughts?
I could buy some new tips but there is no physical damage to these so i would imagine they could be restored to new. Worst case scenario I will re-torch them & make them blue again.
