Best way to get your windshield really clean is to use clay and your choice of detail spray followed up by a wipe down with paper towels. Now use your chamios to finish the job to a sparkling clean windshield, nothing else works like this process. Having a windshield this clean allows your windshield wipers to work better too...Gary

 

What about the inside? Mine is always dirty and I have to clean it five times.

 

Since I don't smoke there's no build up of any residue inside my windshield, chamois works there too...Gary

 

I use a light polish to remove hard water stains. Ill try the clay next time. Thanks Gary.

 

Nothing has changed, still using clay to get my windshield really clean but I discovered a great windshield cleaner by Adams when used with microfiber towels makes SLICK's glass sparkle! Paper towels make a mess, micro towels are the answer! (still using Costco micro towels)

Clay bar works great in removing contaminants then apply a good compound using a DA with orange LC pad to bring back the clarity of your windshield.
