hey friends. I recently took off the Infiniti badge off my trunk.
I have a 2006 Infiniti g36 with 124k on the body and when I took of the badge, there are some ghost marks left. It's not too visible, but if you look in the right angle it will appear evident. What do yall recommend to eliminate the marks?

 

A lot of UV rays, or it would be quicker just to repaint.

yeah, wd40 is fine. rubbing alcohol works too. just clean up with soap (not car soap, use dish detergent) and water, hit the trunk lid with some polish, then apply a coat of wax.

 

you guys should really use inox mx-3 as opposed to Wd-40, its lanolin based and is a lot better,Wont damage paint or plastics etc, Bonus is you can clean your plastics(lenses, Dash,etc) and use it on bushings etc also as a bug remover, Google Inox mx-3, the stuff is amazing, i started using it 5 years ago and would never go back to wd-40 for my cars. Good luck with the ghosting...
