Chemical Guys - Arsenal Builder Car Care Kit - Good deal at $65?

I was looking to get a car cleaning kit for my father-in-law for Christmas and came across what I think is a pretty good deal on what they call their Arsenal Builder Car kit. It comes with bucket, foam blaster, applicators, and products. It's on a big sale today, reduced from $99 to $65. Is this a good deal, or do you know of better ones? I was thinking the foam blaster might be good for him since he's in his 70's (but he still likes washing his car), and that might help him out?

I think it makes a good holiday gift, but if you guys know of a better deal out there, I'm all ears!

I have never used Chemical Guys but I know they have a good reputation in the detailing world. The link you provided shows a $99 price but if you can get it for 65 I think that's a great deal. Also please start threads in the most appropriate place, I've moved this one to the Detailing sub-forum.

Sounds like a good deal but only if the bucket has a strainer (two piece bucket) so he's not throwing his sponge in the bottom of the bucket where the really dirty water sits! You could go to Pep Boys and buy a bucket and sponge for $10= without being engineered correctly!

5gal bucket = cheap
Wheel brush = $10
Grit guard = $10
Wash mitt - $10
Foam cannon - $20
Couple microfibers and a waffle weave towel = $15

Basically they're throwing in the chemicals for free, pretty good deal if you want to use their chemicals.
