Hey everyone I fell asleep on my way to work while driving and crashed my car into a gate, the damage ain’t seem too bad but I drove for a little bit, the engine seemed Smokey and gave out. Now i towed it and parked it in a safe spot but, it won’t fully turn over when I turn it on and the transmission was previously working but it won’t go into park and the airbag was deployed as well. Before I take it to a mechanic any suggestions/ advice??
Sorry to hear that man - if you hit hard enough to deploy airbags you probably lost all your coolant and overheated the engine. We can't tell you much without at least seeing some pics, and even then we can only guess at what damage was caused. Be thankful you're unhurt, and sorry for the shitty situation, tired driving is no joke, hopefully you learned something from the experience.
