Help! Help! Help!

I debadged my car the end of last year, but left my infiniti logo on (mt fuji). I recently took of the infiniti logo as well in the rear/trunk. It seems that there is a shadow of the infiniti logo on my trunk. Any suggestions on how to remove that? Thanks!~

I had the EXACT same experience, I can still see a faint shadow of the "INFINITI" and "G35" lettering on my DG coupe deck lid. Time does help, it has gotten better over the last 2 weeks. But it's still not "perfect". I have polished with Scratch-X and waxed the whole area 3 times but it's still there (barely). I plan on going over the area one more time with Goo Gone, as I suspect there's still a thin layer of adhesive there, then re-waxing one more time.

Don't know if that helps you at all but at least you know you're not alone...

the paint around it has faded from the sun so you could get it repainted, but waiting will make some difference but it will never match perfectly. the above solutions may help.

When I debadged my car I scratched up the area a little bit, so when I was done taking all the adhesive off I saw an outline of the lettering.

I had 3M Rubbing Compound and used that to go over all the scratches. After a few coats the scratches were gone and so was the hazy shadow of where the letters used to be.

3M's rubbing compound works wonders on light surface scratches
