Best way to remove oil stains from my plenum?

My G recently had some pretty bad oil leaks. It's obviously fixed now, but it left some pretty nasty oil stains on my intake plenum. What would the best solution be to get it looking nice and clean again?

Pretty sure I used brake cleaner on the inside of mine when I took it off to do the valve covers.

Brake cleaner and a wire wheel on a drill.

Or just brake cleaner, brush with wire brush, then paint with an aluminum paint.
