Porter Cable Polisher vs. Makita

I alread have a random orbital sander/polisher from Makita:

Will this be fine to use? If so, do I need to get special pads for it?

Re: Porter Cable Polisher vs. Makita

i guess that would be ok it looks super heavy duty though. I would get some foam pad or somthng like these http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog....1004&SKU=10626 and http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?L1=L1_1000&L2=L2_1004&SKU=10628
I have these and they are great.
