Absorber Towel

Is the absorber towel any good. I see there is an absorber towel sold in a plastic container. Has anyone used this and is it any good. Is a chamois better?

they absorbe and do not scratch as long as they're clean.. HOWEVER they DO NOT absorb everything.. you'll need to fallow it up with a small microfiber towel..

IMO we dont need it.. just get a big towel and yeah... but for trucks that gather up puddles.. they're great

I recomment the BIG BLUE TOWEL. The most absorbent towel I have ever seen. Not cheap, but well worth the money. Watch out for fakes. Got mine from properautocare.com.

I've used the absorber for a long time on my old 3000VR4 and Typhoon. Works very well on the G35 also. I follow up the windows and door/trunk jambs with a microfiber towel. I do keep separate ones each car. Just like the wash mitts, one for the body and another for the wheels and exhaust tips.

I like the Big Blue as well or the shamee http://secure.detailedimage.com/Merc...ry_Code=Drying. If you have one of these it's usually enough to dry an entire car. There is 10% off these towels as well.

Works pretty good at getting most of the water off, but as mentioned above there is a tiny bit of water consistently left behind (best caught with a microfiber towel chaser).
