car detailing

I'm about to pick up a 7424 porter cable polisher and going to try at waxing my car and detailing it. I'm new at this so what good products do you recommend.
I need products for tires, windows, wax, polisher and anything else I might need.

My car is a black coupe and the paint condition is decent. There's water marks and bugs that have been there for a while and swirl marks are very noticeable. Thanks in advance

I moved this to detailing forum for you.
I use Zaino products and love them.

i use mostly 3m products w/ the pc. use a swirl remover w/ a polishing pad. that should be enough to get rid of the swirls. do one section first until you get the results you want. that way you know how much effort and what polishes to use for the remainder of the car. i use a finishing glaze w/ the finishing pad. then 3m show car wax by hand. worked great on my GFs 99 black accord. car still looks clean w/ a bunch of dust on it from 10 ft.
