ANOTHER Zaino Question

Seems like a perpetual topic huh? Ok, so I think I'm gonna take the dive and try Zaino. My mom just got an E-Class, so now I gotta maintain both cars when I go to visit on Sundays, and it seems like Zaino will be easier to maintain.... the only thing I was wondering, if for some reason, I really don't like it (I know, fat chance) can I put wax over the top of it, since there's really no way to take the Zaino off and start with a fresh surface?

Re: ANOTHER Zaino Question

I think the Zaino will come off with just a Dawn wash.

Re: ANOTHER Zaino Question

Zaino does not come off by using Dawn, verified this with Sal at Zaino. I don't know what takes it off, maybe rubbing alcohol. At any rate, you shouldn't need to take off Zaino before applying wax.

Re: ANOTHER Zaino Question

Someone responded to a post on www.autopia.com that said compound will easily take off Zaino. Also, on one of the HOWTO's was information stating that to get a really wet look, apply carnuba wax on top of a polish like Zaino.

If you always do what you always did you will always get what you always got.
