Just ordered my first Zaino kit...

Do you guys treat the 'plastic' (bumpers, spoiler, etc) areas just like you do any other part of the car? Is it safe to use clay, Z2 and Z6 on those parts? Thanks to this forum for all the great advice!

Treat the painted plastic parts just like the rest of the car.

However, be careful around the black rubber and seals. Zanio, just like wax, is difficult to get off of those parts. Also, if you have clearbra, be careful around the edge as the Zaino can buildup easily there and it is difficult to get out.

I bought the "ultimate" kit, the first time I did the full dawn wash/clay bar/z wash/z5/z2 x2/detail routine it took me about 3 hours. I used zfx to speed up the wax applications. Now I just wipe down the car with some z7 and then apply z6/buff every week or so. Takes about 30 minutes. Whenever I feel like it I apply the tire gloss stuff and clean the interior with the leather cleaner. That only takes a few minutes.

1. Wash with dawn.
2. Claybar if you wnat. I think you should it makes the surface smother IMHO. Use zaino carwash for the clay lube.
3. mix zfx with z2pro. Just fill half of one of those small bottles that come with the zfx kit with z2 pro and five drops of zfx. This should give you enough for 2-4 coats depending on how much you use. Make sure you apply z6 first and buff then z2 with zfx. Thats one coat second and third, fourth coats do the same thing.

z6 buff, z2pro/zfx buff off, z6 buff, z2pro/zfx buff off, z6 buff, z2pro/zfx buff off.

You only need zfx if you gonna do more than one coat.
