zaino clay bar

how do you use it the zaino way?
with the mother's kit, you spray some instant detailer and use the clay bar to go over it, but after i did that, i had streaks all over the car and i had to spray the instant detailer and wipe it off with a terry towel.. i doubt thats how its supposed to be

its the zaino car wash soap. when you wash your car just make a little more and put some in another bucket. use one to wash car then the other with a small cotton towel you drip on to lube the surface. when your done go back to the other bucket too wash your clay barred area.
so one bucket to wash
the other to lube the claybar with.
I would definetly clay first it makes a big difference.
dont forget to z2 pro it.....
I would add zfx and put several coats!

I'd just use the Clay Magic bar. I've used the Mother's before and although it worked well, I don't think I'd like to pay $15-16 for it again. It's probably because it includes Showtime detailer.
In any case, the Clay Magic is the one used in autopia for the article and it's $9.95. It comes with lube (not detailer spray) but I found car soap to be the easiest way. No streaks or anything. Just wash the car first, then when you're about to clay, just go over that small panel with the wash mitt or whatever you use with car soap, and run the clay bar over that section. Wash off, and do the next.
I don't know how much the Zaino one is but I'd imagine it's not cheap.

The Mothers Clay bar is 80g the last time I checked which gets you about 2 uses if you cut it in half when you get it. I currently use the Clear Kote clay bar kit because it gives you a great bottle of quick detailer as well as a 200g bar. I usually cut this bar into six pieces when i get it, that way I have six different fresh pieces to use. It also has a storage case which keeps it soft, just spray a little quick detailer in it to make sure it stays fresh. I also like this bar because it's much softer than the Mothers and less likely to harm the clear coat.

I have had my clay magic bar for a few years now. What i do is have a bucket of warm soapy water by me. I use a wash mitt to put a bunch of soapy water on the car. Run the clay bar on the car then wash off the yuck on the claybar in the bucket before kneading it. This washes of the impurities and the warm water helps you knead it easier. Then I use the wash mitt to wash away the residue on the car.
