blue magic safe on clearcoat?

I have a jar of this laying around so I was wondering would this be safe to use on my volks?

blue magic as in the metal polish? hmm... are you serious? simply... no.

might be too abrasive on clear coats. at least that would be my reasoning and I wouldn't really want to use it on any clear. i was thinking Klasse AIO to clean em up or a fine polish. I have some blue magic that we've used to polish machined lips but we've never used it on clear coated rims. i recall a thread a little while ago about what to use on volks... or call them up, i'm sure they'll have recommendations.
