What are your product preferences when it comes to cleaning and protecting your rubber door, window and trunk seals. Any suggestions for a product, which does NOT leave a oily residue would be highly appreciated.
I had thought about trying the 303 Aerospace Protectant product. However, I read somewhere that it does leave a oily residue, which is contrary to its product ad.

303 does leave oily residue if you apply it too liberally, not only that but if you don't buff the residue off after a few hours it will drip onto your paint and create runs, which sucks. That said, I still use it on my wheel wells and just make sure to apply it lightly and buff the excess off after an hour.
On my rubber and plastic trim I use Zaino Z16 (it's their tire gloss), works really well on plastic trim like the plastic under 03/04 sedans or the rubber around the windows/sunroof. It doesn't leave an oily residue and it stays on through a rain or two.

I use the 303 Protectant all the time and have never had it drip anywhere. I always apply the product to the microfiber, never direct spray. This gives you more even coverage and a great matte finish. There is a very slight residue left behind when applied in this manner but it's nothing like an armor all that attracts dust. The Protectant works extremely well at keeping a shine and UV protection as well. I highly recommend it and the rest of the 303 product line.
