Just ordered P.C. 7424
I just ordered a P.C. 7424 w/ a Sonus SFX Polisher Kit.
Cost just under $200 and hopefully it will be here before next weekend so I can give it a try. I will try to take some before and after pictures of the results. I drive a TB coupe and it has some minor spider webing going on and I want to see if this is as good as it is claimed to be.
Here is where I ordered the P.C. from http://store.yahoo.com/autopia/son-sfxpol-kit.html
I usually use Zymol as a cleaner / polish. I think I will start out with the Zymol and then try a wax after that... What does everyone suggest? I heard NXT is good stuff... what else is out there that gives great results?
Thanks

You're looking for LSPs? Man, there are so many.
Sealants: Zaino, Poorboys ex-p or ex w/carnuaba, 4* UPP, any wolfgang sealant, Menzerna FMJ, the list goes on...
Carnaubas: Nattys Blue, NXT, Souveran, P1S2, S100, Glaz, Collinite...
Head over to autopia.org and look around. You said your car is TB? Imho, for the price nothing looks better than NXT on blue cars. I'ts not my favorite for any other color, but it's like it was made for blue.
More importantly, which Zymol are you using to remove the swirls?

OK, so I went on-line again last night at autopia and selected the following.
Since I have never clayed the car yet I will start with claying and using the Sonus clay lubricant.
Next I have a couple of areas that the dealership marred (of course they didnt do it) by placing a tarp on the fenders while changing the oil so I will be using Sonus SFX-1 on those areas and hard water spots.
I will follow that up by using SFX-2 and SFX-3.
After SFX-3 I will use my trusty Zymol (I love Zymol, Original formula cleaner / polish in a blue bottle z-503)
Finally I will put on a couple of coats of P21S and see what that does. I did not get the Klass this time around but will probably rey it out the next time I get the urge to detail again in a month or two.

Sounds good - one suggestion though. On those waterspots/areas with marring, try SFX-2 with a cutting pad first. SFX-1 is pretty high on the abrasive scale, and while I like it a lot for removing wetsanding marks, it might be too much for the marring you're working on. Always start with the least abrasive combo then move up. If SFX-2 and a cutting pad doesn't remove the marring, try SFX-1 and a polishing pad. I am willing to bet if you move slowly and apply enough pressure SFX-2 will take those marks out in no time.
The nice thing about that is SFX-2 will not leave hazing, so you can follow up with SFX-3 for an awesome shine. SFX-1 will almost definitely leave a light haze which will have to be cleaned up with SFX-2 before moving to SFX-3. Just an extra step that might be unecassary.
Have fun!

Great point Picus!
I read that whole thing on Autopia and I will try the SFX2 first before I hit the SFX1... I will try the SFX1 on my wifes GS300 that has alot of sun damage from being parked outside. Our 3 car garage has a entertainment room in there and we can now fit only 1 car in there... The room might have to go if we get that 330I.
My shipment shiped this AM and should be here easily by the weekend. 300.00 later I hope I can make these cars look like new again!
