Re: Leather Cleaner/Conditioner

You can use a conditioner pretty much as much as you want. I found that the Lexol was being absorbed very quickly when I first got the car. I'd reapply it at least once per week for the first couple of months, and then at least monthly or whenever it feels dry. Here in the frozen north, hard to do on a regular basis during the winter.

Re: Leather Cleaner/Conditioner

I got some Lexol conditioner today and I don't like it at all. It smells bad (not horrible, but not a smell I want in my car) and despite the fact that my seat soaked it up like crazy, and I then wiped it down with a towel, it still left the seat way more shiny than the others (I just tried one to start with). It seemed to almost emphasise the wrinkles and creases in the leather. I guess I should give it a day to really soak in but for now the Maguires gold cleaner/conditioner seems to be doing a better job. (Smells yummy, good consistency, not so oily, leather feels softer) Anyone tried Pinnacle?

I've heard great things about Zaino Z-10 'Leather in a Bottle'. Supposed to enhance the 'real leather' scent, but I'm not sure that's what you're after.

I just used the Zaino for the first time yesterday. It, like all the Zaino products I have used to date, lives up to its rep. Looks good, not greasy, and smells great!

Re: Leather Cleaner/Conditioner

I used Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner just yesterday. I was very impressed. As stated earlier, there isn't much of a scent to the product, but the results were clear. I've got the willow interior and, after 7000 miles, it had definitely gotten grimy. The Lexol cleaner pulled that dirt out quickly and easily. The Lexol conditioner made the leather feel smooth, silky, and very soft. I haven't used any other leather products, but so far, I like Lexol just fine. (I used Aerospace 303 on the rest of the trip and vinyl, very very good product).

Re: Leather Cleaner/Conditioner

I have been a lexol user for many years. I like the smell and the soft feeling it gives the leather. I think the first day after using it the seat feels kinda gross but then the day after that it's like getting a big hug from your seat.
