like others said plastic polish rub on and buff off
hasn't gotten cloudy for a month or two now
but if it's inside, not good to have any moisture in there

I'm willing to bet it's not on the inside. Regular soap/water will not remove this cloudiness. Just use plastic polish, and it will clear up.

I had the exact same problem on my headlights. I thought i had haziness on the inside of the plastic also. I used some 3M Finesse-it and it cleared the problem like magic. The haziness turned out to only be on the outside surface and was polished off easily with the 3m product. I had previously tried waxes and other cleaners with no luck. Give it a try.

3M is the way to go. It works well.

I have a 1995 ford Tbird with this problem and I used a rubbing compound and used a buffer to take the compound off. It helped a lot and now its about 90% back to being clear.

I also thought there was a film on the inside of the headlight, kind of like when you don't clean the inside of your windows after awhile. It's real apparent when the headlights are on. When off, it looks fine. With your lights on, look at the housing. It's pretty nasty. That is until I tried Meguiars Plastx. It really is on the outside!

Mine are fogged on the inside and look like crap. Has anyone had any luck with a dealer repairing/replacing?? seems to me that they should be sealed so that this doesn't happen.

I have an '04 Coupe and the haze "seems to be" on the inside as well. But it's possible it is on the exterior. I am going to try to clean them up.

If you have condensation in you headlamp housing check this TSB
