Splash Guards

My 05 came w/ out the SG's I was wondering are they worth it? Do they really protect the lower rockers that much better? I figured if they are worth it, idinstall them before the first road salting of the year. I just want to know before i go spend $400 on the parts

I got splash guards when I purchased. I have no paint issues on the lower rockers. Personally, I'd never go without splash guards. IMHO, they make a huge difference.

$400??? Check out www.everythingg35.com. Much much cheaper. I paid about $40/set there, but they are worth much more. I love them.

Personally I would not be without the splashguards. They do offer a bit more protection and we use our car in all kinds of weather and conditions. (still don't do gravel roads though, that is a considered a no-no unless there is absoluetly no alternative).

I got the dealer to throw in my Splash Guards for my '06 LS 6mt. They finally showed up just after Thanksgiving. My dealer was supposed to set up an appointment to get it installed, but he keeps dropping the ball on it. Again this week. Pretty aggrevating (sp)!!
Thanks for letting me vent. :P
But yeah, I think it's a good idea, it could only help really....

I just got my G35 about a month ago and the car I made the deal for had been dealer traded so they had another one and it was the exact sme but it had splsh guards on it, so they just gave them to me for free. What are they meant for I live in San Frnacisco Bay Area, do er have any use for them here?

I ordered the splash guards for my '06 coupe but when they went to install, they found out the '06 w/sport package has different rocker shape and after further checking...they aren't even making splash guards for '06 sport pkg. My dealer wasn't sure if there are plans on manufacturing them at all so they had to refund my money. Bummed out in Dallas, TX.
'06 Diamond Graphite/Stone, premium w/ intelekey, sport w/'05 spoiler.
