Wheel Wax

Looking for suggestions on how to best maintain the look and appearance of the wheels and tires (especially how best to deal with the brake dust). I've seem some postings mentioning wheel wax and zaino. All opinions and experiences are appreciated.

Wheel wax works well and offers a nice shine. It helps reduce but by no means eliminates the brake dust. You have to be careful not to use any kind of wheel or tire clean cleaner on it as that seems to reduce effectiveness.

Wheel Wax or Poorboy's Wheel Sealant. Wheel Wax can be applied to a dirty wheel and clean/protects in one step. Poorboys Wheel Sealant must be applied to a clean wheel and lasts longer. I have and use both products. You can't go wrong with either.

I've used both products on my OEM 17's (winter) and OEM 19's as well as aftermarket wheels.

I agree both are good and both have the advantages listed above. Although with the Wheel Wax I wouldn't clean anything less than a relatively clean wheel with them. If its really dirty I will wash it, polish it and then wax it. The longer protection and great smell of the Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant makes me give that a little favoritism.

Can we buy this locally like Autozone, Discount Auto, or Pepboys? Or do we have to order it?

As far as I know you have to get it online, I've never see these products at my local stores.

I've used Zaino up to now, but thought what the heck. Ordered a tin of wheelwax tonight. An extra stocking stuffer for Xmas. http://www.wheelwax.com/
