Overspray or maybe fallout on Windshield
I've had my coupe for about 3 weeks now and in the last week I have just noticed, early in the morning, at a certain angle, when driving towards the sun, my windshield is completely covered with tiny little specks or flecks of something.......I checked it the morning after a fresh hand wash......hit the windshield good with Invisible Glass and a microfiber towel and it is still there.
Anybody else run into this? Possibly fallout while on the boat or being trucked to dealer? Maybe even clear coat overspray????

Re: Overspray or maybe fallout on Windshield
Definitely not on the paint.....at least I'm almost positive....I'll have to check it in the right light to be sure.
Can't be little chips cause I can actually see where the path of the wiper blade has left it heavier up in the corner where the wiper doesn't hit....
I had read something somewhere about industrial fallout...but you'd think that would be all over the car as well, unless it doesn't adhere the same to clear coat......
Seems like someone had them acid wash the windows to get rid of it....heard of that at all?

Re: Overspray or maybe fallout on Windshield
try this test from proper auto care:
Wash and dry your vehicle. Place your hand inside a plastic sandwich bag and lightly run your fingertips over your car's paint. It should be smooth-as-glass. If the paint has a rough, gritty or pebble-like feel, you have some type of contamination on the paint. Polishing will not remove this contamination. Remove paint contamination using clay bars prior to waxing
