I use a similar blade, but only on the roof of my car & hood where there is standing water after the rinse..

You know if you don't wipe after swipe. Dirt can get trap underneath and scratch your paint.

That & the cali duster are diasters waiting to happen.

Gently flood with hose (not spray)... & a LOT more water pulls itself off of the car.
Use a blower for the excess @ cracks, mirrors etc...
& then waffle weave to finish FTW

you couldn't pay me to use that blade. There are stuck on contaminants on your car that DO NOT come off with washing. Couple passes with that thing can loosen the contaminants then and they'll be dragged across the paint. Just not worth the risk and I don't care how great you think your car looks after using it. I would bet you $1000 if you use it regularly and put a halogen light to your paint, you'll see just how "great" it works.

I think this is the best technique for drying your car and keeping it as swirl free as possible.
