Good detailing place in SoCal
Just got my G like last month and i gotta say man it get dirty so fast and i washed it liek 4 times since i got it. Well i was just wondering if anyone knows and good place to get my G wax so it could shine again like how it did when i first got it. I could see swirl marks on my car already

If it's just a simple wax job you should just do that yourself by picking up some OTC waxes or shopping online at www.autopia-carcare.com. Great site with a wide variety of some of the best products to buy. Just got my package in today after coming back from school. I don't really think it's necessary to get your car detailed by a professional this early since your car is still new...and it runs close to $350 for a good detail job...but...that's just me, maybe you want to anyways.

I use:
1. meguiars washing soap
2. Microfiber towels and big blue towel for drying
3. Porter Cable and Meguiars #83 to remove swirls and light scratches
4. NXT wax
I have detailed many cars and black cars look awesome once everything is done. I live in Socal as well. I can help you detail your ride.

#3. I use the Porter Cable 7336SP. You can find it at Lowes. For the Meguiars #83 bottle, here is a link:

#4. You can find Meguiars NXT liquid wax almost anywhere (ie. Target, autozone, kragen, pepboys, etc...)
You can either hand apply or use a PC to wax it. I prefer the PC way. Almost everything I do is with the Porter Cable except when I claybar the car. For wax, just read the instructions on the bottle on how to apply. For the NXT, just shake it and apply it on an applicator pad. If you don't have one, put it on a microfiber towel.

Most people go with either the 7424 or 7336SP. You should read up on porter cables and the different types of models out there to get an idea on what it comes with. I don't suggest just buying a porter cable and going headstrong on detailing. Read up about porter cables, backing plates, pads, cleaners, polishes, waxes, glazes, etc. As you can see, there is a huge learning curve here. Different solutions require different methods on applying. Some are easier than others and different ones have different techniques for applying.
