Thinking of removing body side moldings
Thinking of removing body side moldings
I think the G looks better without them, plus they are so low on the door I don't think they'll do much good.
Problem is they were on the car when I bought it (used) and I'm sure they were installed when the car was new and it is a black car. Any ideas on how to remove them and not have bad shaddows on the car?

If coupe no problem.
If sedan, there are mounting holes in the body behind the strips.
i removed mine after having them on for 2 years. I didnt notice any discoloration at all. The task was painful tho as i didnt have the right chemicals to use. Goo gone didnt work for crap. I ended up using 3m general adhesive remover. If you don't have that, good luck!!
