Can I use wheel brush on painted rims?

The wheel brush seems a little rough, don't know if it will scratch the rims or not.
What should I use to clean rims if not the wheel brush?

Thanks

Micro fiber sponge. Are the rims trashed?

Best advice to give is if you wouldn't use it on your car, don't use it on your wheels! Unless you have a beater with the standard crap old school steel wheels! LOL

Thanks for the advice. So car soap and soft towel are enough?
I am just always scared about scratching the clear coat...
