Is this overkill?
I'm planning on stocking up for spring, I want to get everything ready.
My car is a week old. 06 G35
Are my steps right?

Your wash looks good. Just be sure to use a two bucket method and grit guards if available. THis will reduce sediment and grime transfer back onto the paint.

Drying - I use the big waffle weaves only. I would stay away from the blade, If properly used it can be fine, but the liklihood of getting some grime trapped in it and scratching the surface is just too high in my opinion.

Clay - clay is clay until you get into body shop stuff so you should be good. After you clay, I would wash again to remove any grime left from the claying process.

Polish - Take your pick, everyone has their favorite. I have not used the setup that you show for polishing so be sure to post how it works.

Sealant - I hear GREAT things about FMJ. Again, post how that works. I would be interested in its longevity.

Wax - Unless the car is a garage queen or you just don't like the sterile look of the sealant, I would skip the wax. It is nothing more than a sacrificial layer at that point. If you do decide to wax, Natty's Blue is a wonderful choice. I go between that and Souveran. The Natty's is more durable for sure.

What are you using on the wheels? I like Poorboy's wheel sealant.
