I am selling this product called Wheel Wax it has worked well for my car. It reduces brake dust buildup and makes cleaning the rims next time around easier. Let me know if you want one PM me for pricing.

I applied the Wheelwax on my winter alloys mid winter and they did seem to stay cleaner and clean up easier.
I've got a good application on my summer rims, but will not be installing them for a while yet.

I honestly don't know, but I found a difference as compared to regular wax.
There are a few other waxes specifically for wheels. A few others that come to mind are Rejex and also a Michelin product.

Wheel waxes like Wheel Wax and Poorboy's Wheel Sealant are set to stay put at higher temperatures such as those that a wheel experiences.

As for the spots on your wheels, wheel waxing products will not help you. I have had good luck removing some contaminants with Klasse AIO or a similar chemical polish. A bug and tar remover used carefully might also help.

Once you have them clean, THEN go to the Wax / Sealant to prevent that from happening again.

Great Response!

Brake dust comes off at several hundred degrees and the Wheel Wax and Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant provide a thin barrier of protection that helps prevent the dust from sizziling on the wheel. With repeated occurences the wheels will become more pitted and the dust becomes harder to remove. For contamination thats really hard to remove the P21S Finish Restorer is an amazing product that works great on all metals. It safely releases the toughest debris and makes the wheels look stunning. Its best applied with a two-sided micorfiber polishing towel, which really works well. I highly recommend the process, the results are amazing. Any after your done seal/wax the wheel so you save yourself time from the next cleaning. With a weekly cleaning and monthly application of the wax and or sealant you shouldn't have much built up brake dust.
