Help I'm an Idiot
Man I feel your pain. I did the same thing about 3 months ago. I left my sunroof and both window all the way down. went took a nap and when i woke up it was hella storming. Still didn't remember I left the window down till bout an hour later. Finally went to the car and almost **** on myself. The whole car was filled with water. water filled the whole floor board almost to the top of the seat. Opened my garage and had the wet vac used it for about 3 hours. Man it was so hard to wet vac the seats. At first everything worked fine except for the radio. it wouldn't work at all. Rest of the night I left the car on with the heater full blast and the next moring wet vac all over again. Then put leather treatment on all the seats. Heater seats wouln't work at first either, but left on all the time and eventually work. From then didn't have any probs. Got lucky I guess
Water is not awful for leather because they are both natural properties and it should be okay. However too much water can cause problems if its excessive so here is a two step process that should help. Leatherique Prestine Clean and Leatherique Prestine Clean are the absolute best cleaners and conditioners especially for so water on the seats. The Rejuvenator works deep into the leather and conditions it at the base of the leather where problems can manifest. The Prestine Clean helps further condition the leather and clean them as well. Highly recommend the process, great results.
