Ok Guys, I am getting my Zaino kit soon, so I just wanted to review the direction.

My car is brand new and I just washed it yesterday and I noticed that I have some swirl marks. I havent waxed it or anything.

So first off I am going to wash my car with Dawn. Then, without drying the Dawn wash, I am going to wash it with the Zaino show car wash. Dry it with a water blade and some micro fiber towels.

Then, I am going to clay the car with some lubricant and then wash the car again with the Zaino car wash soap. After drying, I am going to apply 2 coats of Z2 and 2 coats of Z5.

Sound good? Or do I need to add something?

Also, when claying, I spray some lubricant and buff the car using a circular motion? Then do I let it dry or continue claying the rest of the car and then wash it off with the Zaino car soap?

1. Wash with Dawn
2. Clay bar, use a spray bottle with zaino wash and use it as a lubricant. Make sure to keep the are wet. Should feel smooth.
3. Wash with zaino wash
4. 2 coats of z-5 scratch remover with zfx (1 ounce is half of those little 2 ounce bottles)
5. Z-6 after the 2 coats of z-5
6. Use the polish (up to 4 coats or less, it's up to you)
7. Use z-6 between polish coats.

1. Should I wash with Dawn if I have no wax on my car?
2. Make sure to keep the car wet? or the bar wet? What
should fell smooth?

4. 2 Coats as in polish the whole car once, and then polish it again starting from the same spot as the first coat? When I am applying the polish do I let it dry or wipe it off?

1. yes, the dawn gets any grease oils, etc off the car so you can clay bar.
2. the caly bar directions tell you to use a spray bottle with some 16 oz of water and I think 1/2 capful of z7. spray a small area and run the clay bar across. you can feel whether or not the clay bar is getting stuck.
3. I waited for my first coat to dry then sprayed the car with z6, then applied another coat. You have to wait for it to dry or you'll just be moving it around. I used my finger to wipe about a 1" area to see if it was dry every once in a while.
6. Yes he is talking about z2 polish.

I applied two coats of z5 and ran out of time so I sprayed the car down with z6 and haven't applied anything else yet. The shine is still great and the car feels like ice. My swirl marks are gone so I'm going on to z2 next weekend.

I just did my car with Zaino for the first time yesterday. I did a Dawn wash, Z-2,then Z-6. Looks great and only spent about two hours.

I waited for about 60 days to be sure the paint was good and cured.

So it's not good to Zaino a new car?
Since the paint has not cured?

Im confused...I thought it was ok.

Sorry, I didn't want to confuse the issue. I just saw the TW Blue and figured that it just came off the boat so the paint may only have about 30 days of cure time. IMHO I feel that there is something to the 90 day wait regardless of the type of wax, chemical, etc...
