Step 1 Wash (Meguiars #36 Wheel Cleaner & Meguiars #00 Hi-Tech Wash)
Step 2 Clean (Wolfgang Polishin’ Pal Clay Disc w/ Meguiars clay)
Step 3 Polish (Meguiars #7 Show Car Polish)
Step 4 Protect (Meguiars #20 Polymer Sealant)
Step 5 Maintain (Meguiars #26 Hi-Tech Liquid Wax )

I used only Microfiber Towels for drying & polish/sealant/wax removal to avoid swirl marks. Obviuosly I can barely lift my arms. Tell me what you think.

That's just what I was thinking. I saw an FX45 in my color with tinted windows this weekend and it looked great.

I've used Meguiar's and Wolfgang on my previous car and think the results are great.

Today, I applied Klasse All in One Polish and Poorboy's World EXP Sealant. I QD at the end with Optimum No Rinse Mix.
On my tires / wheels, I used Mother's All Wheel Cleaner with Mother's FX Tire Shine.

Did you use a PC when you detailed your car?

 

Looks great! i saw your post on MOL as well. I have an OB so needless to say when the dealer washed the car to give it to me they scratched the hell out of it. My PC is in the mail, so when that gets here i'll give it a go and post up some pictures.

 

I have an orbital buffer, but I only used it at the very end to get it a little extra shine. The Wolfgang Polishin’ Pal is a hand held device. You simply attach velcro foam pads and apply the polish, sealant and wax. I used the microfiber towels to remove all polish, sealant and wax.

I really wanted to wax the rims, but I wasn't sure what to use. What should I use for the 18 inch aluminum alloy rims that come with the sports tuned suspension package?

 

I got some meguiars nxt all metal polysh. Ill let you know how it turns out.

 

Are you going to take the wheel off and polish the inside?

I'm also curious, is it ok to use Meguiars #26 Hi-Tech Liquid Wax on the factory wheels (after washing them)?
