Scott- appreciate the offer, but if the AIO is as good as it looks, I will want the entire bottle. Just ordered it, thanks for the tip.
I'll post pics after I try it out.

first off, nothing is going to really clean them since the Volk lips are clear coated. The clear coat is damaged, so no amount of scrubbing/polishing will work. Send them off to get the lips stripped and high polished.

Correction-- They are not clear coated, they are anodized. Anodized lips have chemical reactions... Such as ths one.. Try a few products to take it off.. Chances are it won't come off completely. (Kind of like the Volk lips that you see turning rainbowish).
But like Moog said, you'll have to get it sand blasted and high polished probably...

Problem is that a lot of "Safe for all types of rims" wheel cleaner and/or tire shine have some sort of chemicals in it that can cause a reaction with the metals. Not much you can do about it...
You can "try" to polish it if your rim is a 2-piece... and disassemble it. Either way... it won't come off easy.
My rims having an anodized lip... I don't think I'd go down that path again. Even things like brake dust sitting on the rim over a period of time will etch into the rim slightly over time....
Good luck with your rim repair...
Is it only on the lip?
Anodizing is a EXTREAMLY Hard substance. Its realy hard to breakdown or ware off. It is there to protect the polish on the rim. So I dont think any mild polish will help you. I would send them off to get done..

$125-$150 each depending on location and shop
