It's glued on with 3M emblem adhesive tape. You can remove by using fishing line or dental floss behind the item to cut it from the glue. Helps if the car has been in the sun for a while. Get as close to the paint as you can without scratching along it.
Now you'll be left with black adhesive in the shape of the emblem. Dab it with Goo Gone and let it soak into the adhesive. ONLY USE A 100% USA, MADE-IN-THE-USA COTTON towel or other safe cloth for washing/waxing your paint. Repeated applications of the Goo Gone will be needed. Patience! The adhesive might only come off a bit at a time, forcing you to go through the Goo Gone / rubbing steps 3-5 times.
Wash area and wax spot for good measure.

What i'm curious about is the FRONT emblem. The rear shouldn't be a problem. I'm suppose to be receiving my new front and rear black Infiniti(via Infiniti-parts.com) emblems today and I have no idea how to replace the front emblem!I've only seen it installed on an '03 brilliant silver coupe and looked sweet. Hopefully it comes w/ installation instructions otherwise, any advice or guidance on this project would help.

Can't remember if the tabs are on the sides or above and below (must be the sides), but you'll press the release tabs on the sides of the emblem and then slide it straight out. It's not just a flat emblem, but rather a cup-like module. the new one should slip and click into place. The front is the easy one.
