CG approved for repaired/painted panels
I just got a call from my body shop-- I had a call in to them about washing/waxing the newly painted hood and bumper. I asked what wash they would recommend, and can they recommend a compound that's safe for the car. They said "The only thing we'll recommend officially is a product called Crystal Guard. Since you don't "buff" it, you've got almost no chance of damaging the finish, and it will still set and cure properly". Just thought I'd let ya know, so anyone who has damaged parts can keep them clean, shining, and protected! I personally am ecstatic. I'm going to go wash my baby.

Re: CG approved for repaired/painted panels
My estimator said that he'd just learned about it a little while ago though another G owner (hah!). He used it on his own cars, then brought it to his boss... they tested it on their newly-painted panels and said that the application and properties of the product make it perfect for newly-painted panels. Woohoo!
