I'm a big fan of applying of polishing them with the P21S Finish Restorer, which will remove just about any contamination from the surface. Wash them first with regular automotive shampoo and then the P21S Finish Restorer will remove just embedded contaminates and a lot of contamination that you can't even see with the naked eye. The shine is quite remarkable after. Then I would top it off with a coat of Wheel Wax or Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant. These will protect the wheels and add some gloss.
