How do you take off the badges?

Hello, i was wondering how you guys debadged your cars? I heard you use dental floss, but I was just wondering what your opinions were for the best method. Oh, 1 more question, is the infiniti logo just stuck on there with adhesive, or are there holes when you remove it? Thanks.

Heat em up with a blow dryer, or let it sit in the sun for a couple hours then use dental floss. You can use WD-40 to get the remaining adhesive off but make sure you wash and wax it after.

^^ what he said... but i suggest washing it before and after... i heard Stoners Bug & Tar remover works really well.... and is clear coat safe... dental floss or fishing line... dental floss is the safe way to go

The Infinite logo doesn't have holes so you can remove it. Let your car sit in the sun for a couple of hours. Take your dental floss and carefully remove your letters. Next, after all badges are gone, take a bottle of goo gone, and with a q-tip, apply to the adhesive left on the vehicle. Be careful during this process (as not to scratch your car's surface), after the goo gone has settled in - slowly remove the adhesive (this may take 3 applications). After all adhesive is removed, ensuring the surface is free from debris, spot wax and buff. I did this 2 weeks ago and it came out perfect.

I just used my fingers and an old small LA Fitness membership card to pry it off. Got lovely blisters on my thumbs though...

I'm sure there are easier, less painful methods...

I got some wd40, im gona try and get the gunk off tommorow. I got the badges off with floss, it worked quite well, but I tried bug and tar remover and it didnt seem to have any effect on the sticky gunk. Just wondering did you guys open the trunk and then spray the wd40 and let it sit or what did you do exactly? Thanks for the tips!

Wax actually works really well at getting the rest of the gunk off and it does step 3 at the same time....

Yep..nothing better to use on your paint man..really. They never dust up and nothing holds more crap

For $8 - a dozen go a long way! BTW - the cloth diaper has been used for more than 50 years for the highest quality paint jobs just for that purpose...don't knock it!!!

Hey man, I took all my badges off and there are no holes. I used dental floss and a hairdryer. Buy some Goo-Gone and get a microfiber rag and it comes right off!
