u gotta be kidding me $85 000 in mods ?? and the car would probably have cost around 35k new lets say.... so thats around 120 THOUSAND DOLLARS and a crapload of time and effort making it happen.... It's a nice car and all, and I dont mean to be rude... but for that much money this thing better be running 9 seconds in the quarter mile and 0-60 in 4 seconds flat! and handle 1g of lateral force... nobody should expect nothing less of a machine costing over 100K...when you associate that much money with a car you usually expect close to 1000hp.... why are the horsepower figures so low on this car? you must have platinum wheels or something....
that is waaaaaaaaaaay too much money to blow and only have the car run low 11's maybe high 10's..... am I right ?? whats this car runnin currently ?
I could buy a stock 96 TT supra for 15k put in a 5k of mods (boost controller, full exhaust, intake, headers, push up the PSI a few notches) and I would already be running 400hp to the wheels... yea its THAT easy on that Toyota inline 6... I had a buddy with a Supra runnin the same setup and was pushin 420hp to the wheels...
some cars are all out platforms for insane engine modification and some are not.... I dont think a G35 deserves this much attention, but the Skyline is a whoooooole other story now

 

well you said, it. money isnt that big of a deal for me but i didnt shop around that much for alot of the work. i bought the car and the motor was hurting so i let someone talk me into a sleeved motor with consworth heads, also the ronds and piston set up wasnt that cheap either. i then paid about 20 for the stereo system which is very high end. and the body a tranny cost about 7 total. the money keep adding i didwant a show car but i knew coming into this project i might only see about 30-40 percent of it back becuase of what it is. I dont mind loosing a few gs n the car i just know alot of people donthave 65k to by a used car right??? I would rather sell it cheap an let someon else enjoy it, besides it is no where near my daily driver anyways.

 

yea thats gonna work out real good for the dude who buys it off you..and lettin someone else enjoy it makes you a cool cat in my books... and it's nice to be able to say "Money isnt big of a deal for me" heh, reminds me of that Jay-Z Jermaine Dupri video "Money ain't a thang" where they whippin porsches and ferraris around throwin cash out the windows....
I'm startin to wonder now whats the most HP being pushed on an almost daily driven probably weekend driver G35... I've looked around the forums and the fully modded ones seem to float around 500hp...
off the top of my head I know third gen RX-7's are between 400-600hp
Supras 700-900hp

so have you taken your car to the track ? whats it running on slick tires??
