Looking for OEM wheels/tires
Looking for OEM wheels/tires
Looking for a good deal on some OEM wheels with decent tires. 17s, 18s, and 19s considered. Not too concerned with curb rash as long as it's not un-repairable. Tires need to pass inspection.
Let me know what you guys have! Post up pics of send them to RodeoMT52@hotmail.com
I'm desperately trying to get wheels on my car to get legal for inspection.
Thanks,

I'm not sure what the minimum is for being legal, all I know is all 4 tires I have now have the steel belts showing though so I know they definately won't work.
Can you snap some pics to send to me? What are you asking for them?

I can try...I'm asking $500 for them. Why don't you just call around to local tires shops and see if they have any used tires in stock. You can usually save a ton on very gently used tires.

JD
Tread Depth
FYI...to pass TX inspection the minimum tread depth is 3/32
But I would assume, the people doing the inspections just take a glance to see if you have any tread and at a minimum you arent past the wear bars.

I have some 18's that fit but the tires are totally bald (steel belts showing on all 4 tires).
These wheels aren't designed for this car and are way too wide(18x9.5 F and R), they're just on there for the time being to get from point A to point B and I don't want to spend the $ on new tires for these wheels I can't use long term.
So I'm just hoping to come across a good deal on some decent wheels/tires to roll on that fit the car better and have enough life left in them to pass inspection.
Also trying to keep it local as shipping 4 wheels and tires will be over $100 at least just for the shipping.
I'm looking for 19" chrome OEM rims, as soon as I find them I will have the 17" OEM rims with Yokohama tires on my sedan now for sale. They are in great condition with a ****load of tread on the tires that I'll let go for $500
