You guys think that I'll get the same feed back from wheels america, etc?

BTW, the lips are no longer anodized and do not have a clear coat so they are bare.
i've taken worse to wheels of america and they were able to fix the wheel. i did have one wheel that was bent from both inside and outer lip. made the center of the wheel shift and not worth repairing. is it a 2 or 3 piece wheel? maybe you can just buy a new lip if you cant repair it.

btw, BACK FROM THE GRAVE THREAD!

Been traveling a lot for work. Got back from China a week ago and I'm still suffering from insomnia. I just want this week to be over with. Thankfully I get Friday off.

Man, I curbed and bent my other wheel last week. This one is a lot worse. It's bent in from the side and top. I guess I'll need to stop by Wheels America or Wheel Repair Solutions. WRS says the lips are hard to come by since they don't make the wheel anymore. Might have to get a custom lip made.

I was going to Wizard's @ Spring Valley and 75. The turn for the entrance came up a lot quicker than I thought (I'm so use to going to Pappadeux). Basically, I took the turn too fast, thinking I could make it. And usually I can at ~35MPH, which is why I took it. The problem was the asphalt to the entrance is not too great, a little gravel kicked up and before you knew it I slide right into the curb.

I spidered the bumper too, but that's an easy fix with Drone.

I appears that this wheel is a Maya wheel which is distributed by Dazz which when out of business. They are now sold under Trafficstar which is under Avanti. I'm probably going to take the wheel to WRS tomorrow. We are hoping to get a new lip with 40 holes (24 bolt holes, 1 hole for the valve stem, and 15 hidden holes behind the spokes). Seems like the closest lip is from a Trafficstar - STR.

Wheels America has my wheel now. The lip is screwed and cannot be reshaped. So they are going to try to find a new lip or new barrel all together. Even though it is a three piece wheel, for some reason Maya welds the lip to the barrel instead of siliconing it, so they will need to plasma cut the old lip off.

If they can't do it, it will be sent to Wheel Repair Solutions. If WRS can't do it, I may be looking for some new wheels as a last resort.

Yeah wheels america couldn't find a new barrel. I found these guys on the clublexus forums.

http://www.clublexus.com/forums/the-...omponents.html

Been talking to Andy @ MC3, and it sounds promising. It looks like they have done Maya RT5 before, which is a similar barrel as mine.

If this falls through, I try idk or star wheel.
