so can they hook up through the OBDII port? Or do they have to hook up to my ecu?? Reason being is that i just spent roughly 3 hours mounting the damn UTEC..I really dont want to pull that back out again.

yes Grubbs will only hook to your ODBII port for the inspection ... I believe it is the same port to change the idle??

You are correct. The Consult II (they may be on version III now) hooks up to OBDII like the inspection equipment and can change all settings on the car. Hell, you can change some really cool settings in there that you would have never thought to change.

or just buy the actual consult! haha

there was a guy at the last Maxus event (National Maxima Meet) that had a software system that was pretty cheap (relatively speaking) that would tie into the entire Nissan family (OBDII).
