hks install

has anyone installed the HKS hi-power themselves? I've searched but no DIY....is this project complicated? anyone around dallas have HKS? if so who installed? Thanks guys...

it's a fairly simple install with some basic tools. air tools are a plus. bolt on. bolt off.

very very simple install, just like any other exhaust. Hardest part is getting the OEM exhaust off the hangers and not stripping the bolts. Soak all the bolts in WD-40 and let it sit for a few minutes before trying to loosen any of em.

i got my hks installed at Matchless Performance in Addison when i had my headers installed its only like a 30 minute install from the shop for like 70 bucks or something

Where in Dallas? I can help if you want, or you can take it to GS Motorsports in Irving. They have worked on A LOT of G35s and specialize in Nissans.

im around rowlett......thanks for the offer but i think ill have to tackle this project on my own...just got a new job so now i got no more time...and the exhaust just came in today too!!

Its easy install...I did it myself the first time and had matchless install the new one on my car while it was in the shop.

lol ..........oh yea! installing the exhaust was pretty easy. it took me about to hours with only hand tools and two jack stands.
