Well today was a great day until this happened.....went crusing with a couple of Z's over the autocross event going on at Pennington Field! Great cruise over there! After this was over some of us decided to head on over to the ricekiller meet. Well we got there and the turnout was insane.....roughly 80 cars of all kinds...anyways when I was heading out I stopped really quick and parked my car at an angle in one of the parking spots....needless to say I am talking a buddy of mine up there on the other side of the parking lot and I hear a loud crunch...Zach (from Ricekiller.com) in an 03 Mach 1 mustang was trying to get close to my car to take some pics of both....well upon pulling up he got distracted and popped the clutch out and rolled right into my G35s back bumper/quarter panel...here are the pics...I was hoping to make it over to the Import Reactor show this week but not sure I will be going now because of this..He gave me all of his contact information..insurance etc...since I am really good friends with him and this was an accident I didnt want to file a report and screw up his insurance...He said he would pay out of pocket the repairs if under 500.00...if not then he will put it on insurance...I did call the cops and since it was in a parking lot they said they couldnt do anything about it...whatever...

any ideas as to what I should do? Should I upgrade the bumper while its in the shop?? chargespeed or what?? throw out some suggestions? Or should I keep it the stock bumper and just have it repainted? I am afraid that the paint is not going to match because of how hard my car is to match...The sad thing is I picked up the car yesterday morning from the bodyshop after having the Nismo Rear Diffuser painted and new Impul Side Skirts installed..Now it has to go back in..

 

Chargespeed...you know you want it but you'll need the cf diffuser to complete the look imo, unless you paint it black

 

YEah where can I get it from?? i thought they were all out of stock..

 

ive been to a couple of those meets, the number of cars there is crazy and im always worried about someone hitting me...

 

really? I'll call Chargespeed tomorrow and find out. I know there's a shipment coming in April/May

 

yeah that issue really isnt there...this happend after everyone had already left...there was only like 10 cars left...

 

well yeah I wish I could find out..I may just stick with stock...

 

Dam, that really sucks bro! I wouldnt worry about the color match problem. Body shops are amazing. My car was rear ended back in Janurary, and they did a excellent job getting it back to normal. You saw it today, and our car's are the same color.
