$2600 for a new block, keep the SC and everything...should be bulletproof for your application as long as you get a GOOD tune.

That is what I would do if (when?) something goes wrong with my setup. I would then be confident to go with the 2.87 Vortech pulley and upgrade the injectors and fuel pump..

Having a built block is like having a stock block in terms of everything else, except you have forged internals which are stronger and more durable than stock. Some tuners like to lean out a bit more when you have a built block, but that's about the only difference.. you still need to have enough fuel, adequate cooling etc.

I say its the right thing to do, it'll be less stressful thinking about it blowing again, and financially the better thing to do if you are getting married and such. Then again, if money is no object (i wish) then get the built block package.

If i had to go forced induction again, i'd definitely want the same setup as Beerviper, low boost, runs daily just fine. But i wont until i pay off the car and have a daily beater. Until then, i'm still looking for wheels and debating on a plenum spacer purchase, haha! A far cry from forced induction, but that's the risk involved with it. i don't want to run that risk until i can comfortably say that if my engine blows, i can build it again with no financial worries. good luck.

That's what I did. Sold the supercharger and bought a $3K wedding dress.

Any word from Cameron? You should ask for ALL of your dyno plots and not just a select few.
