Hi all,

I'm looking for some help in finding a shop to paint some eyelids. Is that the average price around the DFW area to paint some eyelids ($150!?!?)? I just bought the carbon fiber set from ravspec and plan to paint it IP.

I searched around the Dallas forum and found J&M paint and called them and they quoted me $150.

Is that a normal/typical price to paint cf eyelids? What have you paid to get your eyelids done? I would've bought some from silviaparts 100 painted but they don't respond to their emails and I'm not sure if I'll ever see my $$ if I buy from them.

Please advise guys!

IP is 3 stage paint, so $150 sounds reasonable. Jose just finished up my Top Secret front bumper a month ago in IP, and it's a pretty good match. He does good work.

Usually, you get what you pay for. If you shop around though, you can find places that still do good work, for cheaper. I needed to repaint my rear bumper and I got quotes above 500 bucks, and eventually got it done for 300, and it came out great.
