Got a ticket with LIDAR
Hey guys, i just got a ticket on 635 between Marsh and Web Chapel (heading west)
I was clocked going 63 in a 40.
The funny thing is that when i was exiting i was actually thinking about this stupid speed trap.
I guess i got screwed...

Sorry didnt realize i meant to say off the exit... but it was right off the ramp, but they should have given me a chance to slow down, there are 18 wheelers that are going that fast too, but since he was standing there, i was the only guy he could stop without getting on his bike.

The cop's gun won't be able to get a reading. Technically he can't KNOW that you have a laser jamming device, since he just can't get a reading. Now, the manufacturers advise you to slow down to the legal speed limit when you get tagged with a laser gun (the jammer is also a laser detector and will beep when you get lasered) then turn the jammer off and allow the officer to get a reading.
In reality, you don't have to do that. The cops will just aim their laser gun at someone else, plenty of fish in the sea. Also, laser jammers are legal
(radar jammers however are highly illegal)

It ain't cheap, lol. But this is by far the best laser jamming device out there, with 100% signal blocking in all tests :

June 2004??? Is that the latest data available?? Sounds like this could be far outdated by now and may not be effective against the newer LIDAR guns and only against older laser guns...
Teh software on them is updateable, I don't know if there are new LIDAR guns out since 2004, but a bunch of people (from DNE and the viper club) have this and have nothing but praises for the performance
I will have to ask my friend that works for a traffic engineering firm in Dallas as they use the LIDAR guns for traffic monitoring purposes. I'm sure he would know something.
But if there's people using them today that say they still work, that's pretty good advertising! (if you get the actual referrals firsthand
