So I'm toying with the idea of buying Rock Band.. who over here has it? I know Chris does, but he's a bit busy these days.. I want to get some feedback, is it worth spending ~150 bucks?

yeah, chris was raving about the game on the last meet. very cool of him.... i've heard the only good part of rock band is the drums. i never really been a fan of those type of games but to each his own. picked up GTA IV, let me know if anyone else has it PSN bmoon_007

Yeah, I only want the drums for rock band, I have a real guitar if I want to do that Still, I'd like to play the game for a while see how it is. Perhaps I can just find it on a display in best buy or something like that and give it a shot.

PS3 here as well (just bought it for BD player ... no games ) ... but I love downloading demo's! Tiger Woods golf is addicting, even just playing the 3 hole demo!

 

Yeah, I have the 360. I wasn't planning on buying a next gen game system anytime soon, but my wife bought it for me. Might as well put it to use!

 

I have a 360 and am a Guitar hero man myself. I am 32 songs in to Expert and from what I hear if you an play Expert on GH3 Expert on Rock Band is a walk in the park. I would like to see how easy the hammer on and pull offs are in Rock band.

5 Starred Medium
5 Starred Hard (except for Raining Blood)
32 songs in to Expert (damn you 3's and 7's)

 

i have a ps3 and have rockband and guitar hero, my kids are almost expert and im still on easy... its fun as hell...

 

Ya i think it is a great game if you want to bond with people...

I think I am going to go ahead this weekend and try to play Rock Band at some store that has it on display. If I like it I'm going to buy it.
Hmm I wonder if I can rent it at blockbuster with the guitar/drums..

 

I got over Guitar hero and now loooove playing Call Of Duty on Xbox Live!! So Adicting!!

Sweet! The drums are the real deal. This is as close to playing on a real drum set as you will get. If you can play well on this, you can play on the real thing!!
