Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a former Acura lover...but I decided to upgrade

Is anyone on here in the Plano area (around Park and Preston)? I'm just curious since I see a ton of G35's in the area.

Anyways, glad to be here and I'll hopefully see some of you guys around.

I used to live at Park and Preston, but I now live off of Parker, about a mile west of the Tollway.

 

I work at Legacy/Tollway, but I live in Wylie. Welcome aboard

 

G35s in plano? since when? i use to live close by your location about a few months ago and now about 2 miles west of 'ya. i miss my acura legend coupe. anyways, what year/color/options do you have? btw.....welcome

I actually live closer to Park and Coit, but I usually just say Park and Preston since more people seem to know that area (even though it's only 1 block away)

I guess i should clarify on the Acura bit...I was cruising with a '97 Integra (haha). It was a great car for the 5+ years that I had it, but it was definitely time to say goodbye. Needless to say, it was a bit of an upgrade

and for what it's worth, I got mine from Sewell over in Dallas. MAJOR props to them! But everyone here seems to already know about the great service that they provide.

 

you're not too far from wednesday night plano meets in front of cicis. we sometimes go and you should swing by one night.

+1 on that. It's great to know people who work there because they will really watch out for you. I've been given a free full detail and some black floormats, which I now use, and I got the car in April '08 Did you get it from the used or new department?

 

I actually have a long-time friend that works at Sewell Lexus (just down the street from Sewell Infiniti). She was not certified to sell new Infiniti's, but she was allowed to sell me a used one (which is what i wanted anyways).

She obviously made the whole process SO smooth and simple. We mainly spent most of the day just hanging out and talking instead of the usual jumping through hoops crap.

 

ya, my mom bought an RX from them, but my dad leases an M35 from Sewell Infiniti, so I actually went through the new car people to get my FX, despite it being a year old and 24k miles. I like the people over at Lexus too, they were always very nice.

 

Welcome, and its nice to see a little group of plano G's, should def hook up at some of the local shows.
