Anyone ever stayed there? Thinking about booking a room there for a weekend getaway next month. Domenic...any insight?

Stayed there pre-katrina. Great location. While hotel is not upscale, its very modern. If the price is good i definetly recommend it.

 

I had to fly to NOLA weekly for my job for four years. I can't imagine going there on vacation. Not when Vegas, Miami, San Diego or Chicago could be options. The W is like TripnG says though... It' ok.

Prepare yourself for a scary-*** taxi ride!
